I began my astrological journey in 1984 having always had a fascination with the stars and with the magical world. I have travelled through modern, traditional and academic approaches to the art. I like to blend a modern psychological perspective with the rigor of traditional practice and my approach has been influenced by a long held interest in the Western Mystery Tradition and goddess spirituality, healing and Jungian and transpersonal psychology.  I have now come to think of my practice as a spiritual practice and my relationship with astrology as a path of the soul.

I trained with the Faculty of Astrological Studies and hold the Faculty of Astrological Studies' Diploma (1996). I served as the President of the Faculty from 2015 to 2024.

I completed a traditional horary training with John Frawley in 2003, and was awarded the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University in 2007.

I am a Fellow of the Association of Professional Astrologers International.
