Cat Cox MA D.F.Astrol.S
I began my astrological journey in 1984 having always had a fascination with the stars and with the magical world. I have travelled through modern, traditional and academic approaches to the art. I like to blend a modern psychological perspective with the rigor of traditional practice and my approach has been influenced by a long held interest in the Western Mystery Tradition and goddess spirituality, and healing, Jungian and transpersonal psychology. I have now come to think of my practice as a spiritual practice and my relationship with astrology as a path of the soul.
I trained with the Faculty of Astrological Studies and hold the Faculty of Astrological Studies' Diploma (1996), for whom I currently teach. I completed a traditional horary training with John Frawley in 2003, and was awarded the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University in 2007. I'm currently serving as President of the Faculty of Astrological Studies. I am a Fellow of the Association of Professional Astrologers International. |
