The consultation
In a birthchart consultation the symbolic patterns contained
in your chart which describe your unique nature are explored to discover how
they might seek expression and manifestation in your life. The consultation can
thus enable insight and understanding through examination of these individual
patterns and themes of your life. Areas of strength and weakness may be
highlighted and interpretation can offer insight into how to foster talents or
mitigate areas of challenge or difficulty. Specific areas of life, such as
relationships or vocation, can be examined to give insight or direction. A
consultation will also explore how these patterns may develop in the course of
time though examination of the astrological cycles, termed transits, which are
active at the time of the consultation, or in the recent past and up to a year
ahead, and may consider how these are reflected in your life, and how these may
be experienced and responded to. Specific prediction of events is not given,
however the transit information can provide a framework for guidance.
Your birth data
In order to prepare your chart for the consultation
beforehand I need your date, place and time of birth. Your birth time should be
as accurate as possible, however, many people have just a rough idea of their
time of birth and this can be worked with effectively. If you have no time of
birth I will not be able to interpret your chart, however I can recommend an
astrological method of obtaining this but cannot provide this service myself -
fees for this are around £50.
Venues
I practice at
The
Wren Clinic, in the heart of the City of London, just three minutes walk
from Monument tube. I also practice at
The Atlantis Bookshop, close to the British Museum in
Bloomsbury WC1. Occasionally I work in Spitalfields London E1.
The consultation lasts for 1¼ hours and, if you wish,
can be recorded by digital recorder (WMA format) and emailed to you. I give you
your hand drawn chart when we meet.
Telephone Consultations
I offer consultations by telephone or skype. The
consultation lasts for 1¼ hours. I email or send you a copy of your
chart in advance of the consultation and then send you the hand drawn chart
afterwards. The phone consultation can be recorded onto cassette tape if you
wish and this is sent with the chart. I will ask you to call me at the
pre-arranged appointment time.
Birthchart consultation at distance
Face to face or telephone consultation is preferable, but
if you are unable to meet with me or arrange a phone consultation, then I can
offer birthchart interpretation, spoken onto cassette tape and posted to you or
recorded digitally ( WMA format) and emailed to you. This can include a 15
minute phone or skype follow up call with you if required.
Bookings and Cancellations
I can usually arrange a session between 1-4 weeks notice. If
you need to cancel and we cannot reschedule I will need 48 hours notice or the
full fee may be charged.
Gifts
A consultation may be given as a gift but please check that
this is something which would be welcomed by the recipient.
Before the consultation
It may help you to get the best out of the consultation if
you focus beforehand on what has prompted you to seek a consultation at this
time and to consider what, if anything specific, you want to explore in the
session - it may simply be that you would like a general reading and don't have
particular themes to examine at this time and that it just feels right to do
this now.
Fees
The fee for a birthchart consultation is £100.
Reviews are available thereafter. The fee for a review consultation is
£75.
Fees may be higher if additional charts are used.
The fee for
a birthchart recorded independently and sent to you is
£110.
Concessions may be available - please ask me about this.
Payments
For face to face consultations - cash, cheque and credit and
debit cards are accepted. For work at distance - credit and debit card payment
may be made via Paypal. I send you the link by email -you do not need a Paypal
account.
